Scripts

I write scripts mostly for fun. When a setting or a character comes to mind very vividly, I think of the visual aspect of writing and put the story down in script form. Among Us and Among Us the TV/streaming series were actually scripts before I converted them to the novel format. PersID went the other way around. I could just see the poor guy who couldn’t get many dates fumbling around with a new technology to improve his chances so that story in my short story collection Dystopia (Almost) Everywhere (buy it here!) got converted to script format. Children’s scripts are not left out. Santa’s Reindeers’ Summer Vacation is a Disneyesque short which came to me while thinking: How do the reindeer survive in the North Pole where hay does not grow? This short script breaks my mold a bit because it is not really meant to trigger any thoughts about the implications of current trends and technology.

So far, none of the scripts have been produced though two have gotten some recognition. One got to the quarter finals of a script writing contest and one received an Honorable Mention. If you like one of my novels and think it would be as strong or stronger visually, let me know. I can transform it into script form if you want the production rights.

Among Us TV Series

Teen TV/Streaming version of Among Us the book:
1) It’s a metaphor for going up against arbitrary authority which we all experience on a personal or societal level.
2) Since we are in a simulation (something the Free Humans are trying to tell us!) time does not exist, only levels of the game so the characters can move between levels - - between what we call historical times - - and/or among geographical locations. Their challenges can be in any city or country in the world.
